From July 24th - which passed long ago - through September 13th, art lovers and admirers from around the city have the privilege of viewing Lia Halloran's DARK SKATE exhibit.
DARK SKATE is the second New York solo exhibition from Halloran - a windy city native. The images in the exhibit are self portraits of Halloran skating with lights attached to herself, while the camera is shooting her with an extra long shutter speed. The images she produces create drawings on the cityscape - all images were shot in LA.
Halloran received her BFA from UCLA in '99, and then her MFA from Yale University School of Art in '01, so you know her shit's good.
