NY Rangers, Sean Avery, and 4/19: the day before

Ok i do rep New Jersey real hard but when it comes to hockey i've always bled blue. The New York Rangers rocked the Rock like no team has and rolled right into the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. The Rangers trailed for 18 seconds in the first period before scoring four straight times and holding on for a 5-3 victory Friday night that ended the best-of-seven series in five games. <----- haha straight up Plagiarized that piece, thanks espn.com.

Marti Brodeur aka Fatso was so upset he didn't shake hands with Sean Avery.

"fatso there just forgot to shake my hand" - Avery.
Suck it up Marti, you biitch. VICTORY!!!

Sean Avery is a big reason why Hockey is the illest sport played on two legs. Homie scores goals, checks the shit out of whoever, runs his mouth to antogonize everyone on the opposing team, has his home invaded by MTV Cribs, and dates beautiful actresses like Elisha Cuthbert.

The Rangers acquired Avery from the LA Kings midway thru the 06'-07' season and New York hockey has never been more fun to watch.

Heres some Avery'ness thru the ages..

Yeaa its April 19th and you know what tommorow is...

Heres just a taste..

I was a terror since the public school era
Bathroom passes, cuttin classes, squeezing asses
SMOKING BLUNTS was a daily routine

VICTORY!! East Coast Style

I finally found my way to bed before midnight last night which is a rarity, can't even remember the last time that happened but i slept like a baby and woke up to some spring sunshine. The New York Rangers toppled the Devils last night to take Game one. Henrik Lundquist was on point and it was his first post season victory against the Devils. That'll give him the confidence for game two but the rangers defense needs to step it up and help Hank out a bit. Marti mustve had a bad night but whatever yo...

VICTORY!!

In other east coast hockey news we got The Pittsburgh Penguins shutting out The Ottawa Senators to take game one. Malkin is straight up ridiculous with the puck.

Noone posted a good video on youtube of the game, lamee.

Kansas' Straight Ballin, Hank vs. Marti, and The Future: Finger Bang

Yeahh so sorry i havent given you your east coast overdose fix in a few days.I know millions of you have been scratching for that quick fix. Ive been missing my little bit o' internet also. I was hustlin this weekend with poppa doing the photography thing and after all that im beat. A lot of things went down tho this weekend thats quite notable.

First off we got Kansas topping Memphis in the NCAA Championship. Now i was favoring Davidson out of the four cause my man Curry's got them skills but that didnt happen. As Biggie says it best "either your Slingin' crack rock or you got a wicked jump shot." holler. But yo Kansas for real?! eh. They held it down.

Next we have the New York Rangers defeating the Islanders on Saturday. Ahhhh yes, playoff hockey. Unfortunately Henrik Lundquist(Hank) and the blue couldn't defeat Martin Brodeour (Marti) and the devils for the Ninth time this season on sunday but its all good. We see eachother again tommorow for some first round playoff time. Holler

Hank couldn't hack Parise's shot in overtime tho.

And so i was watching some late night john adams in HD in the wee hours of the morning because i missed it on sunday and ive got the internet netting away and i find the future; Beamz. and it'll be with us on Aprli 15th, Mark your calanders! Peep the two middle-aged dudes and the hi-five. Classic

Get your $600 when the beamz salesman come.

40 years later: April 4th 1968-2008

"Well, I don't know what will happen now. We've got some difficult days ahead. But it doesn't matter with me now. Because I've been to the mountaintop. And I don't mind.... I just want to do G-d's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land..."

Forty years after we lost Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. the pains still there and the message is just as strong. In this case time is no healer. We lost a great leader and a true visionary who saw beyond such a thick color line and understood true human compassion. RIP Dr. King and may your memory and words live on as long as life itself.
